Tips For Playing The Game of Presence

Ready to get high off the presence of one another?

Here are some helpful tips:

  1. Have fun. It is meant to be humorous. As Ram Dass said, ‘We are all God dressed in drag.’ Let your friends and family see, call out and love on the drag of your godliness.

  2. We are all ridiculous and petty creatures. Your ego will get upset at the most petty of things. Practice laughing at this, asap.

  3. No arguments or processing. It’s just ‘this conversation feels disconnected.’ That’s IT. To process is a trick of the ego leading you further away from presence and the ego is a clever coyote that will pull out all the stops.

  4. Connection is objective. Where there is doubt, there is ego. If you are wondering if you have just achieved presence, you have not.

  5. The person who catches the ego must be received. If someone has plucked up the courage to catch you being in your mind, graciously accept their catch (a simple, ‘you’re right’ will do), breathe, laugh and move on.

  6. DON’T LOSE YOUR COOL. Acting in your highest good is remembering to not lose your shit. We are helping one another ascend into our higher selves by letting go of our emotional blocks. By losing your shit, you have just lost the opportunity to transcend into a more loving version of yourself, but don’t worry, there will always be more opportunities.

  7. Leave in connection. Everyone must leave in connection so that we carry with us the good energy that was just created and circulated by the group. If someone has gotten upset or triggered, they may leave for a temporary period of time, but that player is encouraged to come back to then leave in proper connection once again.

  8. If you dislike chatting, try eye-gazing instead. Wanna get high but don’t like talking? Try gazing into the eyes of another. As you start to feel uncomfortable and want to look away or laugh, breathe, and remember, they are you. Keep staying in love and see what happens, baby!
